Elizabeth Parker

Elizabeth Parker is an aspiring Tony Award Winner from Memphis, Tennessee. By day, she is a Registered Nurse at Memorial Medical Center, but her passion for nursing is second only to singing. She was always singing as a little girl, having grown up in the city of the blues. A normal field trip for her was going to Graceland to pay homage to The King, or visiting one of many of the famous record companies that call Memphis their home.

When she was a senior in high school, her family uprooted from the delta and transplanted to the plains of Illinois. She was quickly known in her new school as "that Southern girl with the big voice." During her high school career, she was in shows such as High School Musical as Sharpay, The Wiz as Glinda, and Bye Bye Birdie as Rosie.
After graduating high school, her dreams of musical theatre halted as she entered the world of academics and needing to find a sustaining career. After completing her Bachelors degree in Nursing and working a few years on her trade, some of the doctors heard her singing. They immediately asked what she was doing outside of work with her talent. When she said, "Nothing lately," they scoffed. Everyday they pushed her to show off her talent, let the whole world see if possible. After a while, she took their advice. Now with dance lessons and acting lessons under her belt, Elizabeth is ready to take on the world of theatre and, someday, bring home her Tony.
